In Te Reo Māori, Hãhã means to catch your breath. The breath of conversation which brings us together. The discussions and reflections, the memories and stories binding the past to the present and the present to future ventures. The breath weaving our worlds together. It is the inspiration behind our Hãhã logo, carried on each bottle of wine and shared with you.
Family owned and focused, our quality driven company is built on a generosity of spirit towards each other and the land, and the foundation of sharing and caring. Internationally acclaimed, our range of premium quality Hãhã wines are a true expression of both the long warm summers of the Marlborough region and the temperate Hawke’s Bay climate. Sharing a place, a time and a belonging, our wines are robust in fruit flavours and delectable aromas.
A powerfully expressive wine that is juicy and flavoursome, offering layers of gorgeous tropical and citrus fruits and a thirst-quenching finish.

Pristine and fabulously fragrant, the bouquet shows crunchy apple, nectarine, feijoa and lemon peel aromas, leading to a succulent palate delivering excellent fruit intensity with lively acidity, offering excellent drinking. At its best: now to 2025. Score - 93. (Sam Kim, wineorbit.co.nz, Aug. 2022)
Colour: Bright straw with green hues.
Aroma: Fresh and zesty, this fruit-driven wine will excite the senses with aromas of lime, passionfruit and freshly cut herbs.
Palate: A juicy palate with tropical fruit flavours and a balanced herbaceousness with a long lasting and refreshingly dry finish.
Food Match: Enjoy with fresh caught fish and a zesty salsa, or mussel's with a chilli, lemongrass and coconut broth.
Winemaking & Viticulture: Vintage 2022 provided the warmest weather on record in New Zealand. This along with favourable rain postflowering set up a fantastic fruit crop for our 2022 wines. An early and compact harvest along with hard work allowed our talented winemaker to produce fabulous wines that rival the last two years vintages with well balanced flavour and acidity. Grapes were harvested in the early morning from vineyards in the Wairau and Awatere Valleys. Lightly pressed, the juice was fermented cool with selected yeasts to preserve the aromatic fruit characters.
