An easy drinking wine of rich deep red colour, this wine has generous fruit characters of black currant, mulberry and red berries. It is a well balanced wine with a background of oak, soft tannins and good length with followed by a hint of spice.

The Murray River is in the centrepiece for this warm climate region of Australia. Long hot sunshine hours and low humidity are the growing season. The continental influence is strong, with consequent high shifts in diurnal temperature ranges but not significant to make spring frosts a problem.
