Queenston Mile Vineyard
Pinot Noir VQA
It's about going the extra mile - upscale never tasted so down to earth.
Altogether high-toned and edgy and packed with flavour. Score - 90. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Sept. 10, 2019)
2017 vintage is earthier and meatier on the nose with deep red fruits, beetroot, cassis and spice. The tannins are silky on the palate with more red fruits, forest floor, savory spices and all propped up by racy acidity through a long finish.
Hand-picked from our Estate Vineyard on the St. David's Bench.
The 2016 vintage was hot and dry, resulting in great flavour and tannin concentration. Harvested September 16, 2016, the concentrated juice was left on skins to cold-soak for four days before ageing 16-months in neutral French oak barrels.
