A classic Douro estate, of Port wine and DOC reds, Dona Matilde impresses with its white wines that are born of the culture of Port wine.
It is because of our heritage and our academic culture and practice that we are now reinventing ourselves to produce remarkable white wines: we have continued the practice of the field blend (a process in which all the grape varieties are harvested at the same time and fermented together), using the four traditional Douro varietals used to make Port wine: Arinto, Viosinho, Gouveio, and Rabigato. - Filipe Barros - Mar 2020
