Made using a modern approach to the traditional practice of Ripasso, the young wine is re-fermented with dried grapes in the January following the vintage, giving it more intensity and adding a dried cherry note to the characteristic cherry Corvina perfume.
A lively, youthful ruby wine with fresh cherry aromas that develop into a rich cherry pie character in the mouth. Body comes from soft, supple tannins that match the concentrated fruit through to the characterful finish.
80% Corvina Veronese, 20% Rondinella
This wine is made using a traditional Veronese practice known as "ripasso". Fermentation of the younge wine together with dried grape sin January following the vintage allows for more body and depth. This winemaking process, a blend of modern and traditional practices, produces a wine with a combination of freshness, structure and depth that is fairly unique among Ripasso wines.
