At the start of the 1980s, the Domaine was bought by the Julien family, which has several generations of winegrowers. For nearly 27 years now, Bernard Julien has taken over and renewed this vineyard and vinifies his vintages himself.
Clear, bright ruby. Aromas of fresh berries; strawberry and cranberry. The palate is soft and medium-bodied with moderate acids and tannins. Similar flavour profile to the nose.
Traditional winemaking. Special attention is paid to the health of the crop which is only harvested when fully matured. Complete destalking. Maceration in vats for 2 weeks, under heat monitoring. Fermentation under the effect of selected yeasts. After fermentation, free-run and press wines are kept separately and sometimes partly or totally blended, depending on the vintage.
